Hello! How do you do? My name is Jessica Medina. You may call me Jessie. I took up AB English in college where I studied language and literature for four years. Then after completing my baccalaureate degree, I proceeded to earn secondary education units for 6 months. I have also completed the 120-Hour course for TEFL or Teaching English as Foreign Language. My hobbies are reading, writing, watching movies, listening to music, drawing, language learning, and teaching. In my ESL teaching experience, I have taught Japanese and Chinese students, both young and seasoned. My expertise is usually in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and communication. Teaching is something that I have always enjoyed. I find fulfillment in sharing my knowledge, especially about language and culture with other people. Hi there! :) I have been teaching English in Hong Kong for just over two years now. I have worked at a learning center where I gained experience teaching a range of multi-level courses including Phonics, Cambridge, Trinity, Grammar & Writing and Reading & Speaking. Currently I work at a local primary school where I teach one of the top three literacy programmes in Hong Kong. I also focus on students communicative English, specifically presentation and conversational skills, as they prepare for their secondary school interviews and towards overall fluency.
