Rose Stanley is a writer, artist, published poet, and a seasoned English teacher of 20+ years. Her work with urban students and the surrounding community on a “Poetry Slam” earned her the teacher of the year award in 2001. She also teaches theatre and production to high school continuation students and has produced 4 plays at the local high school level. I have been in Hong Kong for nearly 3 years now and have worked in the education and childcare sector for nearly 4 years in total. I have a university degree, a UK TEFL certificate, and I am currently studying for my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Early Years Teaching. After I completed my TEFL Course at TEFL International Thailand, I taught teenage students at a Commercial College in Bangkok Thailand for four months.
