Hello, my name is Teacher Sylvia, and I am an English teacher based in Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. I am a kind, loving, polite, and fun teacher who loves teaching English to students. I assist students in spelling and writing words correctly. I also correct them when they write or speak incorrect English. My teaching style is always creative, innovative, and fun. This ensures that all students participate in the lesson and enjoy it while having fun. I would like to welcome any student who would like to learn English to join me so that we can work together to ensure that we achieve good results.

I have been a licensed professional teacher for 4 years now. I spent 1 year teaching actual Thai students in Thailand. Currently, I am teaching foreign students online due to the pandemic. I am confident that I can help you learn English language and grammar because it is my passion. I love teaching kids, and my former students in Thailand have told me that they really enjoyed learning in my class.

My goal is to encourage lifelong learning. I teach Language Art/English Grammar, Reading and Writing skills. My educational background has taught me learrning requires attention, retention, motivation and prior knowledge. I use R2D2 teaching strategy as a tool to develop instructional materials. Read, Reflect, Display and Do allows student to use their skills when acquiring new information.

Greetings to whoever reads this! I teach Mathematics, Science, English, History, and Literature. I am currently living in Quezon City, Metro Manila. I had learning difficulties growing up, which makes me more empathetic and understanding towards students. I can provide my students with a healthy and comfortable environment to study and learn, especially neurodivergent students who are very much welcome and accommodated in my classes. I believe that my teaching is effective as I have helped many struggling students improve their academic performance and have even had students who competed and won numerous academic competitions in the past.

My lifelong English journey started with being a research subject and later an intern at CUHK's Bilingualism Research Center. Imbued with a passion for English, I delved deeper into the art both at school (IGCSE and IB) and outside school (various writing competitions and MUN conferences). Despite my proclamations of loving English to bits, I have to say I'm a freshman at HKU Med. The discrepancy is a little odd, I'll admit and explain. This English tutoring job allows me to further my interest in English and spread this enthusiasm to my students! If that isn't enough to evidence my passion, sorry, I don't know what will. Let me quell some other potential doubts about my expertise and experience. Throughout high school, I've consistently been on top of my English class, and subsequently helped a lot of my peers. Of course, I do have proper work experience - I am currently tutoring lovely primary children, for both SSAT and mastery of the English language in general.
