Hello! My name is Jo, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed and feel confident in their skills. I have been an English professor, writing tutor, librarian, and teacher throughout my professional life, and I love working with students to find ways to help them gain new skills and expertise. I'm adept at finding different methods of teaching based on each individual student. After all, we all learn in different ways, and we all need extra help when it comes to learning new things! My fun, relaxed, and helpful approach helps students enjoy the learning process.

My main subject is Maths; however, my English language and literature skills are of a high standard. I have experience teaching English GCSE to Grade 10 and 11, with poetry being one of my strong points. I am located in Mid-levels on the peak. I have extensive Harrow School notes on all the prescribed GCSE poems and plays, which certainly provide the best chance of receiving an A or A* grade in English. I have completed my ACA (HKCPA equivalent) in the UK and graduated from the University of Exeter, where I studied Economics and Finance. While I was at Exeter, I participated in the study abroad program, which took me to the University of Hong Kong. Furthermore, I have also completed Level 1 of the CFA examinations. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I previously worked with CIS to tutor young adults (16-18 year olds) in preparation for their GCSE and A-level exams in Economics, Maths, and Business Studies. Hello! My name is Emi Nuel Escobañas. I am 25 years of age, half Thai-Filipina. I am fluent in English, Thai and Tagalog, I speak English in my daily life. I am mostly focused in the age group of 2 years old - 8 years old (Early Childhood). I have a teaching experience as an English Teacher at a pre-school learning center, private Thai school, and in an international school.
