Hello! I'm Patricia, a native English speaker from Michigan, USA. I'm a pleasant, friendly, and versatile teacher who is excellent with both young learners and adults. My strengths are teaching reading skills, phonics, and grammar. I love teaching young students to enjoy reading, writing, and creativity. I also enjoy teaching English in less conventional ways, such as through project-based learning and critical thinking activities. My classes are always student-centered, interactive, and enjoyable for all learners. In terms of adult lessons, I'm a master at teaching creative writing and critical thinking skills, as well as personalising vocabulary lessons to suit the needs of individual students.

I am currently a bachelor's student at Leiden University in The Hague, in the Netherlands. My expertise is in global politics, modern history, East Asian studies, and Chinese language. Being from the Netherlands, Dutch is my native language. However, I consider myself to actually be more fluent in English. I took the Cambridge English FCE and CAE exam some years ago, and have been attending university in English for the past years.
