I'm Nadine. I am currently doing my BA (third and final year) at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town. My majors are English and Psychology so I feel I am well equipped to tutor and English as a subject. I tutor Afrikaans first additional language as well. I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans and received an award for top achiever for Afrikaans first additional language in matric. After my postgraduate diploma in education (which I will attain next year) I will pursue my passion for children and teach primary school, foundation phase. Born and raised in Illinois, Tariq Shah writes fiction and poetry. He holds a BA in English from DePaul University in Chicago, and an MFA in Creative Writing from St. Joseph's College, where he now teaches undergraduate English. From 2007-2009 he served in the US Peace Corps, during which time he taught 8th and 9th grade English in Moatize, Mozambique, and speaks Portuguese proficiently. An active percussionist for over 15 years, he performs regularly, and has extensive music performance, composition and education experience.
