My name is Satkarn Rajkitkul (Sat), and I am a private tutor with over 7 years of experience supporting students across both academic and creative subjects. Alongside Mathematics and English, I also offer Art tutoring for students who wish to develop their creativity, technical ability, and artistic confidence. I have a strong academic background in Art, having achieved a Grade 7 in IB Visual Arts and an A* in IGCSE Art. I am an experienced educator with over four years of teaching English and computer science to preschool and primary students. I hold TEFL and TKT certifications, as well as a diploma in Montessori education. I am passionate about creativity and enjoy drawing, arts and crafts, and playing the violin at Suzuki Book 3 level. Born in Korea and raised in the US and Hong Kong, I am a lecturer and private educator dedicated to connecting people with the world of art, design, and culture through diverse educational experiences. With a background in promoting contemporary art within the Hong Kong art market and teaching Design History at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, I have steadily built my professional and academic career in Hong Kong. I am currently planning to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) while training at an international secondary school. I hold an M.A. in Art History and a B.A. in Product Design. In my spare time, I enjoy training my intelligent Border Collie and participating in fun activities such as dog sports dance. I also volunteer for the Dr. Dog program organized by Animals Asia.

After receiving my BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers) in 1988, I went on to work in art galleries & doing marketing & fundraising, then finally started my own art business full time about 23 years ago. I have 30+ years of experience in drawing, painting, illustration, digital art, photography and other media. I take the time to personalise my art lessons to meet the creativity, skill level and artistic needs of each student so they can get the most out of the lessons & I work at a pace each student feels comfortable with. My artwork has been exhibited in galleries and other venues for over 35 years and I've sold to private collectors, businesses and more so I have the passion and skills to help others grow their creativity. I listen, I care, I give respectful critiques as well as encouragement and I make the lessons fun. Each lesson is custom crafted to meet the skill level & creative interests of each student.
