Hello everyone! My name is Ferveen, and I am excited to be your online tutor. Everyone has a unique learning style, and it’s my job to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. My goal as a tutor is to help you achieve your academic goals and develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

I studied philology at Lomonosov Moscow State University and have several years of experience teaching Russian as a foreign language. I am proficient in English (OET A+), have some knowledge of Korean and Norwegian, and am eager to start learning Thai.

My motivation to teach Dutch/NT2 lessons stems from my own experience, since Dutch is also my second language. Thanks to my ambition and eagerness to learn and integrate in the Netherlands, I have significantly developed my Dutch and overcome my own insecurities. As a result, I can easily empathize with others going through the same and understand where certain mistakes come from, for example, due to literal translations from another language. This helps me to explain things in a more targeted, effective, and tailored way. After all, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education and Child Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Social Legal Services, and have extensive experience in guiding children, (young) adults and college students. In my work, I have supported many people with their studies, language development, and personal growth. As a result, I know well how to provide tailored explanations and how to create a safe, motivating learning environment. I believe that everyone can learn, as long as the explanation aligns with the individual. That is why I don't only look at what you need to learn, but especially at how you learn best. Together, we work purposefully on your progress.

I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I did editor-in-chief in the company for 3 years. I was publishing new books of Turkish authors, finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I was practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature in Turkey. I recently moved to France to study French.
