Learning the grammar of a new language can feel overwhelming because there are so many different concepts to remember at once. But here's some good news: not all grammar rules are equally important for communicating. Wait, what?! Yes, it’s true! For example, learning how to ask questions or use tenses to talk about things that happened last week or will happen tomorrow is crucial for talking with others. But if you occasionally use the wrong gender for a noun, people will usually still understand you. Start by focusing on what matters most, and keep practicing to get a handle on the more finicky stuff!
I leverage various online tools and language-learning apps to enhance my teaching. Now that I'm back in Germany, I continue using these technologies to provide engaging and effective online German lessons.
