Growing up in a Hong Kong family and having completed the IB Diploma with a Chinese component, I partner with tutor partners who have taught and supervised umpteen Chinese students from all levels (from primary to IB/A-level/GCSE to undergraduate level), enhancing students' knowledge through tailor-made materials where appropriate. My tutor partners have a unique teaching style in that we do not simply teach theory. Instead, we create tailor-made materials to help students efficiently comprehend complex Chinese characters and grammatical structures. Hello, my name is Daisy. I'm a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong. Most of my students are beginners, but I also welcome those at higher levels. I live in the New Territories, but we can always discuss where to have our lessons. Nowadays, Mandarin is becoming increasingly widespread in Hong Kong, and as a result, fewer people may speak Cantonese in the future. Hello! I share my passion for modern foreign languages through tutoring. I speak fluent French, English, Cantonese, Mandarin and intermediate Russian. I have always had a huge interest in the arts, around which my work experiences and education revolved. I grew up in Hong Kong and studied in the UK, France, Switzerland, and the United States for my higher education and I started tutoring after my master's degree. I love helping my students progress and achieve their learning objectives– aiding their academic, intellectual and personal growths are highlights of my tutoring experience, not to mention my own growth as a tutor thanks to them. Experience CELTA-certified with over six years of teaching experience, my first tutoring experience actually started at age fourteen, when I volunteered at a daycare centre and a school for disabled children. Since 2019, I have been working as a freelance tutor and have tutored over 200 students.
