As a child, I discovered that I wanted to become a teacher, and often acted as a teacher with my cousins and sister. Daily I taught my “students” lectures regarding Math and English, and at the end, gave them assignments to submit. I am Ellen, 35 years old from the Philippines. I graduated BS Psychology and currently taking Early Childhood Education. I also had a brief experience teaching Korean students ages 4-6 years old, as an ESL teacher before working for Convergys.

My favorite style of teaching [English] is to create a fun, relaxed learning environment where I incorporate games or activities to increase confidence in the classroom and keep students motivated to learn! I am fully aware that each student learns at a different pace, so I create my curriculum in a way that everyone is on the same page. Children will forever hold a special place in my heart. I truly feel as though they have a quality about them that enables us, adults, to get in touch with our inner youth and innocence, qualities we tend to grow out of as we get older. They aide us in putting the little things back into perspective when, at times, we take them for granted! Hello! My name is Chloe, and I'm an experienced native English teacher. I have been in Hong Kong for nearly 3 years now and have worked in the education and childcare sector for nearly 4 years in total. I have a university degree, a UK TEFL certificate, and I am currently studying for my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Early Years Teaching. I have two years of experience teaching early learners in an international kindergarten, and an additional year's experience teaching both adults and children English within a learning center here in Hong Kong.
