Hi! My name is Mahnoor, and I am a Canadian citizen and a native English speaker staying in Hong Kong over the summer. I am currently completing my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Western University in Ontario, Canada. I offer English tutoring both online and in-person for students aged 4-18.

I was born in the United States and I've always loved being around kids. In high school, I started volunteering at SmartStart Preschool before, after, and sometimes even before school. In college, I majored in Early Childhood Education. I have completed a high school diploma, Certificate of Accomplishment, Certificates of Achievement, and an Associate in Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Diablo Valley College. I have 3-4 years of experience working in schools and learning centers as a student teacher as well as a teacher's assistant. I am most experienced in teaching children ages 3 to 6. Aside from English, I can also speak Cantonese. I am located in Sha Tin, but I am also willing to travel to Kowloon if necessary. I mainly help young children with their English homework.

I mainly teach English as its the language i grew up around. I have a more American way of speaking as i was fortunate enough to attend an International school and have also gotten to travel around. I used to teach less fortunate kids for free, as a side hustle and just because i have fun interacting with kids like that, where you get to see them realise their own potential with a little help.
