Hi there, my name is Kimiara. I am 22 years old and I am from South Africa, situated in the beautiful city of Durban. I am an experienced English Teacher. I taught English with Early Teens and Adults. I also teach Biblical History. However, my current target age group is between 6-10. There may be exceptions though. I am a non-chinese but I can speak Cantonese effectively. I can teach English, maths or any science subjects disregarding what I am mainly going to be hired for I will also put a little emphasis on the student's capability in other areas to improve the student's weakness in any field. I also believe in continuous motivation and encouragement through the teaching time. I live in hung hum, kowloon but I am willing to travel depending on the student's needs. I love teaching children and I get along with them easily. To enhancing the student's interest in studies I do not limit my teaching method to textbooks but online teaching, poems, songs and assignments too so that I can I can view the student's progress in the lesson.

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of its ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning. This approach lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.
