Mathematics has always been in my blood. My outstanding marks at primary, high school, and university attest to that. Since the time I graduated from university, teaching and tutoring Maths has always been my form of entertainment. I completed the first phase of my high school (O'level Cambridge Exam board - 4 years) and then I went on to do the Science stream at A'level (the last 2 years of high school, which I will refer to as Grade 12 and Grade 13 if you are writing exams set by Cambridge). In A'level, I studied Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics. After that, I enrolled at university in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and studied for a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics for 4 years. I obtained a 1.1 pass. Since then, I have gained vast experience in teaching and tutoring Maths at both the high school and tertiary levels. I am familiar with virtually all the syllabuses, including Caps, IEB, Cambridge, and university modules. I simply enjoy teaching Maths, and I also have a good reputation for helping my students excel with distinctions in Maths. Let's start together now.

I am a math teacher, experienced in Algebra, Quadratics, Trig and Thereom Geometry. I am in Ottawa, but I have done tutoring online to other countries via Skype. A few of the simple teaching techniques that I use include: 1. Teaching by using worked examples. 2. Creating colorful posters to summarize each section covered, which includes ALL formulas. 3. Administering mock tests at the end of each section. 4. Allowing students to complete 10-minute mini tests at the end of every lesson, focusing on the material learned during that particular lesson. 5. Going through past papers set by the Department of Education as a final revision before assessments.

My teaching experiences is more on Algebra. I love teaching and my goal is to teach mathematics in an easier and simpler way. I experienced teaching mathematics from elementary to senior high school and it makes me happy to guide and help students in learning the subject better.
