I specialize in teaching math, chemistry, and biology for IGCSE, IB Diploma, and AP exams. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Master's Degree in Biochemistry. My lessons will focus on strategies to target specific topics, exam success with an emphasis on approaching questions, and stretching thoughts to achieve higher grades. Many of my students have shown significant improvement on tests after a few months of tutoring. I am a year 3 medical student studying at HKU and I am currently spending my enrichment year abroad to complete a Masters degree at the University of Liverpool. I completed my A-Level studies in Cardiff Sixth Form College, and prior to that I studied in Diocesan Girls’ Junior School and Diocesan Girls’ School. In AS Levels, I have obtained A grade in physics, chemistry, biology and maths, with an average ums of 95/100. My grades for my A-Level exams are 5A*s (including chinese). I have also completed my IELTS examination with an overall score of 8.5. Having had experiences of tutoring pre-school, primary and secondary school students, I understand that the essence of learning is understanding but not memorisation.
