I am Lukas Lam, currently studying Statistics at UCLA as a junior year. I have been tutoring my cousin since grade 2. I used to be a part-time tutor in a small-scaled tutoring center for a year. I am pretty experienced in teaching grade 1-6 students. I also helped an associate-degree student preparing for his math finals and bumped his grades from failing to B range within 1 month. I just wish that what I know now is what I knew at high school! It would have made mathematics so much more easier. That thought pops in my head a lot and so does this thought... Sometimes I imagine that mathematics is like music. But instead of creating a piece to entertain or portray a feeling it's like using notes to solve complex problems that help the world run full steam ahead. So mathematics can be very creative and much like music! I just wish to help high school students and anyone else who wants a refresher in preparation for higher studies to understand what I know now so that they can solve mathematical problems with a full understanding of what's going on. I study at Concord College in the UK. I am proud to say that it is one of the top schools in the UK with good GCSE results. I teach kids Math online. It is a private lesson, so expect lots of work and self-written exam-style questions.

I have start tutoring back in my Bachelor degree as a way to help my college understand the materials we were handling. After graduation I have taken this one step further and start tutoring in a local tutoring academy in my home town for 2 years so far.
