Maths it right, Mathematics made easy.
My experience with mathematics goes a long way, spanning about 15 years of teaching it in various school settings. I have taught learners in primary, secondary, and high school, as well as those aspiring to become mathematics teachers in tertiary institutions in and around Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal. I firmly believe that to master mathematics, one must be free both inside and out, unafraid to ask for clarification when unsure and willing to apply their own understanding without fear of making mistakes. Mathematics is all about comprehension. Once you understand the problem at hand, you can effectively work towards finding a solution. To this end, I have developed my own special techniques and methods over the years to help students master the subject, ensuring that each lesson covers all the necessary concepts to enhance understanding. I strive to make mathematics easy to understand by using simple English, speaking clearly and loudly, and creating an enjoyable and fun learning environment to foster a love for the subject. I constantly assess my students to gauge their understanding, strengths, and weaknesses, allowing us to address any challenges effectively. To be successful in mathematics, it is essential to believe in yourself, be honest, loyal, active, and diligent in practice. It is important to be comfortable with yourself and your surroundings and not hesitate to put your understanding into practice. Remember, mathematics is not just about numbers, formulas, or theorems; it is about truly grasping concepts and understanding their applications.

Experienced Mathematics Tutor in London
My name is Enyioma, and I am an experienced mathematics tutor. I enjoy teaching children and have ways of making my sessions interesting. For example, when I ask someone to solve a math problem, I typically discuss how that problem is encountered in everyday life. I also ensure that there is collaboration among students if they get stuck on specific problems. Sometimes, I begin the session with warm-up questions to gauge how efficiently students can solve math problems. These are basic math questions from different topics. When teaching a specific topic, I explain it visually with pen and paper, then demonstrate how to solve a question based on that topic. Finally, I ask students to solve similar questions the way I did. I began my tutoring journey in October 2024, when I volunteered as a Math tutor for Action Tutoring. This involved teaching Year 10 to 11 students both in-person and online every week. I was later hired by Fine Tutors in February 2025, where I taught Maths to students in Year 1 to 8 in a classroom setting. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, which involves using Mathematics in designing electronic devices. I also have an Advanced Level Foundation Diploma with a Distinction in Mathematics. This has helped me familiarize myself with the typical UK exam curriculum.
