Hi! My name’s Caroline and I’m from the Philippines. I speak English, Tagalog and Hiligaynon. I love reading motivational books. I also love expressing myself through writing. I love staying indoors but I also enjoy the company of others. I enjoy talking with different kinds of people.

I work as an ESL tutor and I’ve been enjoying my work for almost 5 years already. I’ve taught students from Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. I’ve handled various students with different English levels. The youngest student I had was 7 years old. And my oldest student was around 60. I can work well with any age groups. I prepare the needed materials for my students, depending on their specific needs. I do this by paying attention to details.

As an Asian and multilingual myself, I understand what's it's like to learn English. Because of this, I know how to relate to my students. It's easier for me to explain the lessons effectively and creatively. Since I've been exposed to ESL learners from Asia, I'm already familiar with the way they speak. I can easily understand and correct their pronunciation and grammar. I also teach them how to speak natural and conversational English. I also make sure my students enjoy learning with me. I believe that learning another language should be fun. :)
