My name is Christopher Liley, I am a energetic and passionate 30 year old English teacher from England, currently living in Thailand. I teach English and physical education and find my simple yet effective style of teaching helps students of a variety of learning abilities flourish in my teaching environment. My experience working in schools in England and International school setting in Thailand has enabled me to gather invaluable experience in teaching to students of mixed abilities.

I love to keep fit and healthy and feel my active lifestyle is transfered over into my method of teaching. I create a fun and welcoming environment with lots of energy, making learning english as a second langauge fun for your children.

I feel all children, no matter what background should have the opportunity to learn English due to the importance this skill will offer for your child later in life. I like to teach via visual and verbal learning and feel it is important to be patient and listen to the student. I try to build a possitive relationship with my students in order to help them progress at a fast yet sustainable pace.

I understand every student has their strengths and areas where they need to improve and try my best to identify these areas early on in our journey together.

I am very passionate when teaching my students and try to create an environment which is a fun place to learn. If a student is enjoying their experience, they are more likely going to want to learn each time they have a lesson. I am a good listener and patient with each student, understanding each student will move at their own pace. I like to use visual stimulus to help the child learn such as pictures, facial expressions, videos and sounds. Read less
