I am a graduate of King George V International School in Hong Kong where I completed the IB Diploma, and a current Undergraduate Student at the University of Toronto where I study Economics, Education, and Sociology. I’m presently based in the Tseung Kwan O area while I’m back in Hong Kong for the summer but am willing to travel to various parts of Hong Kong if required.

I’m looking to tutor the subject of English because I’ve always been passionate about teaching and am currently aspiring to work in the field of Education upon the completion of my undergraduate studies. I have varying previous tutoring experience at both the IB/High School level and below prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, where I adopted a patient and outgoing approach to teaching, going above and beyond to ensure that my students gain both a deeper understanding and appreciation for the English language and literature. I firmly believe in adopting a flexible, observant approach when teaching, being able to change and modify lesson plans and explanations depending on each individual student allows for each student to gain the absolute most out of each lesson. Beyond that, I strive to ensure that students not only complete whatever assignments or homework brought to the lesson but gain a deeper understanding of the lesson material itself, developing skills and knowledge that will benefit them in the long run.
