I'm a former university English instructor with 20 years of teaching experience. I teach students of all ages, ranging from 6 to 60 years old. I am also a social science theorist and international journalist, specializing in social, political, and information technology subjects.

Additionally, I have experience as an organizer for workers and poor individuals, as well as a developer of websites, software, and artificial intelligence applications.

For the past 20 years, I have resided in Asia, spending 17 years in China, two in South Korea, and a year-and-a-half in Thailand. Currently, I am located in Chiang Mai and teach students both online and in-person.

Furthermore, I have previously conceptualised and designed the personal knowledge management program ADM: The Knowledge Management Desktop.

I tailor my classes to the individual needs of my students. One of my most popular approaches is to combine conversation with reading development. I use artificial intelligence apps to build a vocabulary list for the reading the student will do in class, providing both Thai and English versions of each word, along with sample sentences. For very young students who may initially have no knowledge of English, I use the Total Physical Response method (TPR), which connects the students' English words with body movements. Read less
