Hi. My name is Suhaib, and I'm a second-year Engineering student at HKU living in Sai Wan. I major in Electronic Engineering, but I have extensive training in Computer Science, which I leverage in my work as an engineer-in-training. I have used a range of programming languages, including Python, C++, and Java. I am passionate about learning innovative techniques for creativity and efficiency in applied work in the sciences.
This passion is grounded in the well-rounded background in the pure sciences that I cultivated as a high school student. I graduated with straight As and A*s in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics in my Cambridge International Examinations at O-Level and A-Level. I also scored 1550 on my SAT with full marks in the Mathematics section. At the same time, I pursued my passion for teaching and creative solutions to social problems with a range of non-governmental organizations, which has given me a breadth of practical experience to draw from. Additionally, I was also a teaching assistant during my A-Levels. I helped AS-Level (Advanced Subsidiary) students understand calculus and trigonometry-related problems.
I am available to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English to students in secondary school. Read less

I encourage students to practice questions to improve their grasp of the material.
I ask students lots of questions and encourage their active participation. I also incorporate fun videos, if possible, to help them stay interested.
If students make mistakes, I am patient and appreciate what they did correctly first. I gently guide them to the right approaches with statements like, "What if we do it this way?" Read less
