Hello Students,
My name is Ms. Hernandez and I am excited that you are ready to allow great teachers to help you identify some new skills that will help you to be successful in subjects you may not be so happy about. I teach ELA and social studies in New Orleans. I am also the Special Education teacher and learning specialist. I am the SDI teacher for 9th and 10th grade students. I also work as the case manager for students who may be battling with behaviors and insecurities at home and school. I have been teaching for over 8 years and I have to say that I have a passion for helping great learners find their motivation and special way of retaining information! I am a mother of two sons, 21 and 12 years old. I have experience working with students such as my son who may struggle with retaining information and who feel they don't learn quite like everyone else. I work daily with students with exceptionalities so I believe I will be able to help you find your motivation and that will help us both identify a skill-set that will ensure your success in school!
