I try to vary my teaching styles based upon what the student wants and needs, If the students have a clear idea of what works for them, then obviously I would start with the preferred method of the student, however in the likely event that the student does not know what teaching style they prefer, I will vary them from lesson to lesson until they find one that they are comfortable with.
