Hi there, my name is Robyn Mechanicos. I am a patient, caring and enthusiastic individual who loves helping others.
Throughout high school and university, I have excelled at both English and Maths- so I am able to tutor in both of these subjects.
Currently, I live in the states where I au pair as well as a tutor a 6th grader. The level of education is incredibly advanced here, so I feel this equips me even more for online tutoring as I have experience in dealing with children, as well as understanding their capabilities.

One thing I am passionate about is ensuring people have the confidence to know that they can solve problems and they have the brain capacity to do what they think they can’t. Therefore I do not spoon-feed while I tutor, but rather teach in a way that will make the student think. I try and get creative with writing or maths activities so that students will want to engage and learn, as well as learning how to apply for their work. For example, making a fun game out of a specific (daunting) problem. Read less
