Hello!

My name is Teacher Shaun and I have been a primary school teacher for 6 years, with almost 10 years in education.

I am hoping to bring my commitment and pasion for teaching to online/home communities. Some examples of how I inspire learners: creative learning through the use of technology such as a green screen; tailoring learning towards pupils' interests; presenting learning in different ways to support pupils' understanding and development.

I am incredibly passionate about the teaching of English creative writing and I strongly believe in children seeing themselves as a writer.

I also enjoy teaching maths following a CPA approach (concrete/pictorial/abstract) where possible. Read less

I have always been a storyteller and I incorporate this into my teaching as a way of modelling ambitious vocabulary in context; I am passionate about the teaching of the English language and supporting the children in acquiring a vocabulary that they are proud of.

I employ dialogic teaching as I believe this is an imperative part of teaching that enables children to develop their oracy skills. Read less
