I am an experienced tutor in Mississauga who spent over three years employed at Kumon Math & Reading Centre, where I worked individually with students of various learning styles and ages, ranging from pre-kindergarden to fifth grade. Now my goal is to follow my passion and continue teaching so that I may give students the positive mind frame and support they need to improve and develop a love for learning. I am able to teach all aspects of English, whether a student requires assistance with reading comprehension, pronunciation, writing skills, or any other aspect of the subject. I also spent eight years enrolled in the Extended French program, which has provided me with the ability to teach French comprehension and grammar. I hope to instil a confident and passionate outlook on education within students through tending to their academic needs, so that they may strive for greatness and achieve their goals. Read less

I love to work individually with students so that I can better understand their unique learning styles and focus on strengthening their abilities. I bring positive energy to tutoring sessions so that students remain eager to learn and so that they do not lose hope, even if they do not understand the material at first. I believe that positivity is essential for a productive learning space, so my teaching style revolves around a good attitude and attention to students' academic needs. Read less
