My name is Rick Hinds and I am from Manchester, England. I am an experienced International School teacher working at an IB school teaching English. I can speak Thai and love Thailand for its culture, people, and of course the food! I moved to Bangkok 10 years ago and have been teaching English in International Schools ever since. I specialize in private lessons and have helped countless students from Kindergarten to High School ages. My passion for teaching and learning, mixed with my outgoing and enthusiastic personality, mean that I connect with students and allow them to enjoy learning and improving their English. With younger learners, I am very experienced in teaching phonics and reading. With Primary/Prathom students, I progress all areas of English (Reading, writing, speaking, and listening). With older students, I focus on areas that need improvement through an initial assessment. I am based in central Bangkok and have my own means of transport. Hi, I’m an experienced and approachable tutor based in the Netherlands, offering support in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English, and Geography. I have been studying at the British School in the Netherlands since Year 8 and am familiar with both the British curriculum and the IB.
