Hello everyone! My name is Carla. I am 28 years old. I from the Philippines where English is an official language. Currently I am living and working in Thailand for 5 years now as an English, Science and Health teacher. I graduated with Bachelor of secondary education. I have been working as an English teacher online/offline for 8 years now. In 2014 to 2017 I worked in an English school in Cebu city Philippines where I taught Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Russians. They had different levels in their English. Some were beginners, intermediate or advanced. I am confident that I am flexible to the individual student's need. Whether if it's a grammar structure, vocabulary, pronunciation and even conversational English. Before I left the job in the Philippines, I had an opportunity to teach IELTS to Chinese students. It made my teaching skill improved because we underwent a training to teach that kind of program. Then, from 2017 to present I am teaching in an elementary school in an English department here in Thailand. I teach primary 1 to primary 6. Mainly, I teach Science and Health using English language. Aside from teaching them the content, I also focus in teaching them the vocabulary words and grammar structure. Not to mention, before, I also worked in an online English school during the evening hours and weekends for almost 4 years. I taught business, daily or basic and conversational English particularly to Japanese students. I also had students who are below 10 years old. I remember, the youngest was 3. Now, I would like to teach and help not only to Japanese but to all non-English speaker. I know working my full time job and part time in the evening sounds exhausting but for me, it is fun. Communicating with people who shared their knowledge, culture and experiences is amazing because I also learned so much things from them.
