I am an international student at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), studying Decision Analytics—a program that requires a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics. My strongest subject is mathematics; I achieved the world’s highest mark in Cambridge O-Level Additional Mathematics, but I also teach physics and chemistry. I have earned A+ grades in all of these subjects at both the Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced Level Examinations. At HKU, I serve as a teaching assistant in a compulsory year one course all incoming freshman are required to take about AI litereacy and ethics.

Hi! I teach IB (DP/MYP) Physics and Mathematics. I graduated from the DP with a score of 43/45 and from the MYP with 53/56. I received 7/7 in Math AA HL and Physics HL, and in MYP I achieved 7/7 in both Extended Mathematics and Physics. I offer lessons in both physics and mathematics. I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy and will be starting my Master's in Astronomy soon. Hey! My name is Luukas, and I'm an MSc International Economics graduate. I'm originally from Finland, but have lived internationally throughout much of my life, including the past five years in Rotterdam. I've always genuinely enjoyed tutoring, specifically the challenge of breaking down complex concepts into intuitive explanations. Even more importantly, I find fulfillment in learning how to adapt these explanations to different people, as everyone has their own style of learning that can make subjects 'click' for them. Tutoring is simply the art of finding each person's individual style. I definitely had to find my own style of learning during my studies, as the vast majority of topics in economics are technically complex and understanding often does not come naturally. I learned to quickly identify core intuitions and not be discouraged just because a subject would look overwhelmingly complicated at first glance. These are skills I would like to pass on to younger students. I can provide tutoring in any economics subjects, whether macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, etc. - as well as in mathematics and statistics. This can be at any level from high school to master's degree. I continue to live in Rotterdam and can do tutoring sessions both in-person or online, depending on preference.
