I consider myself to be both a professional educator and an ice skating specialist, as, in addition to holding an English literature teaching degree, I coach all aspects of skating: speedskating, figure skating and hockey. My experiences in coaching help me to relate well to people of all ages, to assess ability, breakdown and scaffold skills to effectively raise the athlete or student to a level of extreme proficiency.
