Hi! My name is Ufuk Halatoglu, and I am an international student studying Industrial Design at TU Eindhoven in the Netherlands. I have an IB background and previous experience tutoring Mathematics to students with different learning styles and academic needs. I have worked with 3 separate students before, and each of them improved both their grades and their overall understanding and confidence in Mathematics. I have also lived and studied in multiple countries, including Turkey, Romania, and the Netherlands. Because of this, I have experience with different teaching styles, educational systems, and ways of approaching Mathematics. I know that Mathematics can feel intimidating for many students, so I focus on creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes without pressure or embarrassment. My teaching style is based on first clearly understanding the logic and concepts behind a topic, and then immediately applying them through question solving. I strongly believe that solving questions is the most effective and efficient way to learn Mathematics. Instead of memorizing methods without understanding them, I focus on helping students truly grasp concepts and strengthen them through repetitive practice and application. During lessons, I usually guide students through questions step-by-step at first, and then gradually encourage them to solve problems more independently as their confidence improves. I also believe that mistakes are a very important part of learning, because they help students identify weaknesses and improve quickly. I teach beginner and intermediate level Maths for IB, GCSE, IGCSE, and AP students. Hi, I'm John and I teach Math and English around Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Currently, I am studying computer science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in high school, with my Higher Levels being Math AA, English, and Computer Science. I graduated with a final grade of 40/45.
