Hello, My name is Priscilla. I am from Australia and am working as an Engineer in Eindhoven. I have always had a passion to teach and see students improve and grow to love the subjects I teach. I have 6 years of experience teaching Maths, Physics and Engineering. I have experience teaching younger kids (I was a teacher at Kumon), high school students and university students (I was an engineering tutor at my university for first, second and third year mechanical engineering students). I am located in Eindhoven but am willing to travel to your house for an extra fee. Online classes can also be arranged. In order to tailor each lesson to each students' needs, I require the topics and struggles to be communicated in advance.

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.

My students have always initially found it tough to excel in H2 Mathematics and most of the difficulties occur because teachers in school are unable to break the topics down into simple terms, as well as providing a list of question types for students to understand. Having 3 years of experience in teaching H2 Mathematics, I have come up with the solution to this problem and will apply a “bottom-up” rather than a “top-down” approach in our three-phased approach in our tuition pedagogy that is reflected in our lesson plan. In our lessons, we will also learn to substitute complicated terminologies into more layman terms so that students will have learning much more relatable and easier to remember.

I love teaching and learning Mathematics and Physics conceptually. I connect the dots by relating concepts in the textbook to real-life scenarios and use anecdotes and humor to solidify understanding. This is how I learned to study effectively in high school and students came to me for help (which was really fun!) I reside in Northcliff and am a first-year Computer Science student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am surrounded by Maths all day, every day, and I am majoring in Physics.

I enjoy participating in extra-circular activities that involve mathematics or sports. In year 8 I entered the UK Maths challenge and achieved a silver certificate – a mere 5 points away from gold. I have participated in badminton tournaments against other schools and attended after school basketball and badminton clubs. I also take part in sports out of school; having attended boxing and badminton. Other sports I enjoy are basketball and cycling, which I try to do in my free time.

Teaching: Mathematics for Primary (all levels) and Lower Secondary. Available mainly in Serangoon, Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Toa Payoh. Experience: Taught a p5 math student back in 2021, improvements made from borderline passes to 75%. Currently teaching: English - K1 Math - K2, P2, P3, P4 Teaching style: A lot of practicing and going through questions, using them to explain the concepts and solutions. This will help students to pick up Math logic and thinking skills. Tuition materials will be student's assessment books, homework or I will find online exam papers for them to practice on. Relevant Background: I am currently an Undergrad pursuing Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Finance, in University of London. O level Emath: B3 O level Chinese: B3 O level English: B4 I am a friendly and patient tutor, will be strict when its needed. Will also encourage students to clarify any problems they face!

I live in Los Banos, Laguna. I can teach Algebra, Trigonometry, Logic, Computation, Statistics. Even without professional experience, I make sure every kids learn based from the experience I have with my younger brothers, nieces and nephews. If extended hours is needed I offer it without any pay as long as the kid understand and learn something. I won't allow any kids leave the class without nothing learned.

I am an experienced Mathematics Teacher, with a penchant for Mental Mathematics, I specialiae in grooming students in visualising Mathematics and interpreting logics practically. I have always been a high achiever in Mathematics and tutored more than 300+ students annually for last 5 years. I help students develop a concept for each mathematical problem, which stays with them throughout their life.
