Dear students, My name is Rima, and I have studied Bachelor in dental surgery. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in Public Health at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften in Hamburg. I live in a student dorm, so unfortunately, I cannot offer you classes at my place. Otherwise, I would have gladly offered you classes and some yummy snacks too, as I am a very good cook...hehe. I firmly believe that learning is a lifelong process, and the moment we stop learning, something is not right. Biology, in particular, is a fascinating subject that deals with the life of every object. It teaches you how to survive and how to become "the survival of the fittest." However, without proper guidance, students often get confused and develop a distance from the subject, missing out on its significance and beauty. In my teaching, not only do my students learn from me, but I also learn from them. Learning is a two-way street. The brilliant minds of my students never fail to amaze me, and I am certain that when we learn together, we can amaze the whole world.

Kia ora! I'm Alice, a first year medical student with a passion for learning. I have no previous experience tutoring, but I've taught ballet for 2-14 year olds for three years, and assisted my peers with their work. I'm wanting to broaden my scope of teaching into academic fields. I love teaching and finding a strategy for learning that works for the student, and that empowers and supports them through their learning journey. There is nothing more satisfying for me than when someone I'm teaching or helping has that "Eureka!" moment. I am incredibly flexible in my teaching styles and am willing to work to adapt my methods to help deepen understanding of the subject. I believe that there is no better way of learning than to teach, both personally and academically. Translating academic knowledge into teachable sections is a skill that I am skilled in, and am excited to improve this. I would be thrilled if I could help even one student deepen their understanding or passion for Biology. Biology is an infinitely interesting field for me and I would love to be able to nurture that passion in students. Science in general is one of my favourite things - particularly how every field interweaves and you can use knowledge in other subjects to more deeply understand. My goal for students would be to find one thing in this field that sparks their interest and would motivate them to learn. Building confidence within the subject of Biology and allowing students to achieve their full potential within this field is paramount - and I am willing to find strategies that work to achieve this. I have a Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in Orthopedics. Been a college Lecturer for 4 years. Tutoring students online since the past 4 years.
