Hi, prospective student! My name is Ron (she/they). I am a senior Agricultural Chemistry student at the University of the Philippines. I love helping people understand complex subjects by communicating them in much simpler terms. So, if you find Biology, Chemistry, or Basic Mathematics quite complicated, I’m your person! As your tutor, my main goal is to help you understand and enjoy the subject. I’m a Gemini, by the way. I like having fun in everything I do, including teaching. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from HKUST under a fully-funded scholarship, which resulted in multiple excellence awards and peer-reviewed papers. Prior to my PhD, I worked as an analytical chemist in industries while doing part-time lectureships at universities and private tutoring. I also got full scholarships for his Master's degree (De La Salle) and Bachelor's degree (Polytechnic) in Chemistry (Class Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude). With knowledge, skills, and practical experiences, I helped numerous students grasp and master the subject matter through analysis and critical thinking, and I also made them appreciate the real-life applications of the principles they learned at school.
