I have recently retired from a 40-year teaching career, the last 20 of which I have spent here in Hong Kong. I was appointed Head of Economics at ESF West Island School in 2002, then moved on to Harrow International School where I led the Ivy League & Oxbridge Admission Programs. I gained my degree with Honours from Leeds University in 1983. I first taught Economics in the UK before moving to Australia in 1991, where I spent ten years at Christ Church Grammar School as the Head of Economics and Head of House. I am proud of the exceptional results achieved by my students and am pleased to still be considered a trusted mentor by many. A number of these students are now studying Economics at the University of Cambridge, The London School of Economics, and the highly regarded Economics Program of the University of Chicago.
