Sebastien Wen is a recent graduate from the MA in English and Creative writing program at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate degree in English and Creative writing (Honors) at the University of British Columbia. He is the 2014 National Youth Poetry Slam Champion and has publications in Arc, Event Magazine, The Dalhousie Review, Open Canada, Prairie Fire Magazine and Vallum, among others. He is the recipient of the EJ Pratt Medal In Poetry (2018) and the Avie Bennet Emerging Writers Award (2017). He has a passion for teaching and has spent the last two years working as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, Sebastien tutored extensively students of all ages.
