I am a certified Orton-Gillingham Literacy Interventionist specializing in supporting students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. I provide individualized, evidence-based instruction to help students develop strong reading, spelling, writing, and comprehension skills. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. Using a multisensory approach, I help students build confidence while developing the foundational skills necessary for reading success. An informal literacy screening is available to identify strengths and areas of need, and to determine the most appropriate intervention plan. Greetings. I have been teaching English full-time for 30+ years, the last 13 in Hong Kong as a NET under the Hong Kong Government NET Scheme. I was born in New Zealand (British accent) and am now Australian. I have regular Hong Kong students from local as well as international schools and am fully conversant with the Hong Kong curriculum as well as that taught in the Hong Kong international schools.
