I am a graduate of King George V International School in Hong Kong where I completed the IB Diploma, and a current Undergraduate Student at the University of Toronto where I study Economics, Education, and Sociology. I’m presently based in the Tseung Kwan O area while I’m back in Hong Kong for the summer but am willing to travel to various parts of Hong Kong if required. Hi, I'm Irene! I offer secondary school students ENGLISH LANGUAGE/LITERATURE and HUMANITIES tutorials. These include: *HISTORY *PSYCHOLOGY *THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE and *POLITICS/SOCIAL STUDIES. NOTE: all my lessons are ONLINE, using ZOOM or SKYPE. As most of my tutorials focus on sharpening essay or writing skills, students collaborate with me on a shared GOOGLE DOC. Students have access to all the notes after the lesson! I also use textbooks (PDF) or work with the student's assigned textbook for their subject. For local (HKDSE) and international students, my strengths are in preparing students for exams - particularly HKDSE, IB Diploma, IGCSE, and A Level exams - and giving students confidence in their writing and speaking skills!
