I was born and raised in the Philippines, but I am now based in South Korea. I love to travel and visit beaches because the sound of the waves calms my heart. I also enjoy camping with friends. The possibilities are endless and I constantly ask my students to “think outside of the box.” Role modelling and indirect learning is my teaching philosophy. In working with many other instrumental music instructors and university faculty members I know that a teacher’s personality and attitude directly impacts student development. In addition to tutoring I have been trained in both IGCSE and IB. Many of my students flourished under these programs achieving top scores and winning international prizes. My former students can be found in prestigious schools such as Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, the Imperial College, The Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory.
