Todays over emphasis of Mathematics and Science places tremendous pressure on the the students. We have to realise that not all of us are going to become pilots, engineers, doctors etc. The human interaction side of life is being lost, this is surely one of the greatest tragedies of today. Geography is a subject to be experienced, we interact unknowningly with Geography every day. History, have we learned from our past? Critical thinking, interpretation, analysis, motivation? Tourism, the worlds biggest industry! Life Orientation, underrated, teaches us to resolve conflict, decision making, careers, personal wellbeing.
