My name is Malaika, and I am currently a first-year undergraduate student studying Psychology at Middlesex University. I specialize in Maths (GCSE, KS3, Primary), Psychology (A-level & GCSE), and Sociology (GCSE & A-level). I am dedicated to achieving the highest levels of academic attainment at each level. I believe that with the right attitude and curiosity, everything is possible. I also look to help A-level students with their personal statements and university applications. I have previously taught 2 students in GCSE Maths and 1 student in A-level Sociology. We worked on improving the content that they were weak on and focused on these areas for a few lessons, while also incorporating their existing knowledge. My lessons are always pre-planned. We will start by establishing a curriculum to ensure that we follow it topic by topic in order to achieve the best possible results. I aim to engage students in questions to help enhance their knowledge and provide them with a bit of a challenge. My teaching approach includes using an online whiteboard to ensure that my students are actively participating in their lessons. I am a master's student in computational neuroscience. I have an honours degree in physics, with physics and maths as my majors during my undergraduate studies. Explaining things to people is one of my favorite activities. I don't mind how many times I need to explain something; if one explanation doesn't work, I try another.
