I hold a degree in Physical Engineering and am currently pursuing a Master's in Nanotechnology Engineering. With over 8 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students from elementary to high school reach their full potential. I am the founder of a boutique tutoring firm in Hong Kong that specializes in providing academic, exam, and personal statement advice to our students through hourly online lessons that are tailored to the individual requirements of each pupil. We have experience tutoring students from some of the top Hong Kong schools, such as Hong Kong International School and Diocesan Girl’s School, as well as from the top public schools in the United Kingdom, such as Harrow and Roedean. I am a Mathematics tutor and a third-year engineering student at Wits University. I currently tutor primary and high school students in the weekly classes for the Wits Maths Competition (WMC). I achieved 95% in Mathematics in my matric year and have participated in various Mathematics Olympiads and competitions, consistently achieving excellent results. My clients have provided feedback on their results, including attendance at preferred schools (involving reasoning skills help), and a significant improvement in both grades and confidence. With my experience in rigorous training, I am an Examiner for a major board and relish the challenges of marking. This perspective is invaluable when preparing my students. I thoroughly enjoy assisting students in overcoming difficulties in their subjects. My goal is to identify and address any problems in their understanding to provide them with a stronger grasp of the topic at hand. Throughout my career, I have helped a wide range of students, from six-year-olds to mature students, with their after-school class placements. I also provide assistance to Looked After Children (LAC), those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL), and those who are home-schooled or have had to change schools. These students often face significant challenges in catching up with their studies.

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines Cebu, having achieved Latin honors as Cum Laude. I also served as a UP Cebu Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Volunteer Math Tutor at Mandaue Central School in 2022. Furthermore, I engage in statistical analysis for research projects as a freelance job.
