I have been an independent tutor for 6 years, helping students with mathematics, English and French. I recently obtained my TESOL to help students when English is not their first language.

I'm Rufus, a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Zululand and a maths teacher with several years of experience.

As an A-level graduate and former PSLE math A scorer, I'm driven by a passion to ignite students' academic success. My journey from student to tutor fuels my commitment to empowering young minds. With personalized guidance and a deep understanding of their struggles, I strive to instil confidence and unlock their potential.

I mainly teach biology, SAT math, SAT English and chemistry. I have my own unique method of teaching. By using creative method, I am able to engage my students and spark their interests for learning. I try my best to maximize understanding concepts to minimize memorization.

I studied bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, master of science in Mechanical Engineering and then subsequently completed PGCE from University of Oxford. I am currently a maths teacher in a British secondary school. I am fully DBS/CRB cleared. Availability is on weekdays and weekends. I taught students aged 11-18 in different schools and have a lot of experience in teaching one on one. Although Mechanics is my main subject I have chosen to teach maths over 4 years now. I taught in UK, Kuwait and Dubai covering different curricula such as GCSE, IGCSE and IB. I also taught students studying further maths at A-level. My strengths lie in developing mathematical understanding and translating English into maths. My experience lies for both higher level students and foundation students at IGCSE and at A level students. I aim to prove quality tutoring and therefore I cater for student needs at all times.

I am Mustafa, a computing science student at Radboud. I love math and programming! Subjects I teach: - Mathematics: Arithmetic, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Probability; suitable for IB and SAT. - Programming languages such as: Python, Swift, C, and HTML-CSS; at beginner to intermediate levels. I am located in Nijmegen and cannot wait to enjoy lessons with your creative ideas and amazing solutions to what can be perceived as boring math concepts!

I am a Qualified Teacher with a First-Class Honours in Biomedical Science. My experience as a Qualified Primary School teacher and as a private tutor has given me a direct experience of school exams, different learning styles, and the current curriculum. I have developed a range of effective teaching skills over the years which have led to exceptional results. These include: boosting student confidence, unravelling exam questions, tackling exam techniques and misconceptions. I am a patient and attentive tutor able to get the best out of all ability levels - I work on developing the confidence of the student as well as the knowledge itself. I consistently monitor my students’ progress and tailor our lesson progression to their learning needs. I focus strongly on “mastery learning”, which means we focus on why and how certain concepts work, leading to 100% understanding and success. I specialise in Biology, Science and Maths. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.

I have 2 years of experience as a maths tutor to primary and high school learners, while my degree and work as an engineer has provided me with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach maths.
