My name is Frank (Lifu), I am 23 years old. I immigrated to Canada when I was just 10 years old. I completed my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at McMaster University with a 3.7/4.0 GPA. I recently took a full-time position with a top structural engineering consulting firm in Hong Kong. I am very passionate in inspiring the young generation and enjoy teaching others. Thus, I consider this to be a hobby and not a job. Since moving to Canada, I mainly speak English but can also speak Mandarin. I am passionate in subjects like Math, Physics and English. Since I studied abroad starting in elementary and all the way through university, I can provide a lot of insight on the schooling experience in Canada. Although I do not have any formal training on teaching, I have had plenty of practice helping my classmates with homework assignments and test preparation. Understanding I lack in tutoring experience, I am willing to provide the first lesson at a discounted rate to gauge my level of effectiveness. With a busy work schedule throughout the week, I can only help on the weekends. Preferably less than 3 hours a week. I am located in Causeway Bay; I am able to conduct online tutoring as well as home tutoring at the student’s place. However, I prefer teaching in person, as I believe it is more effective. After obtaining Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2005, I completed Postgraduate Diploma of Education (Major in Secondary Mathematics) in the Education University of Hong Kong in 2017.
