I am a passionate musician with 20 years of experience in playing the drums and guitar. I also have 12 years of experience teaching children and adults how to play the drums, guitar, and piano. I teach instrumental techniques, scales, sight reading, and music theory. I also help students prepare for music exams such as RSL, Trinity, and ABRSM. I am available in Barcelona.

After receiving BMus in Music Production at Los Angeles College of Music in 2019, Jeremy Leung was awarded recording apprenticeship to attend National Music Festival (NMF 2019) in Maryland , he then worked with nationally recognized acts such as Los Lobos (Grammy Winner) , Vulfpeck , Scary Pockets and others as assistant engineer at Nest Recorders . During Covid , he found his interest emerges into tech art and tools making . He was a composer in a dance research project in collaboration with University of Hong Kong , later on as Audio Director for indie game Dessert Tank. He is currently pursuing MMus in Music Technology at Utrecht University of the Arts (Holland Scholarship awardee) and PG.Dip in Acoustics at Institute of Acoustics (U.Liverpool Acoustics Research Unit Lab) , building upon interdisciplinary portfolio with practice based research. Additionally he is serving as department representative in the inclusion and diversity committee .

Hi, I’m Mano. I’m a Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College London, based between Hong Kong and London. I tutor A-level Maths and Chemistry, GCSE Biology and Physics, IELTS, and Grade 5 Music Theory. I have achieved A* in Maths and Chemistry, A in Physics, a 5 in AP Biology, and an 8.5 in IELTS. I also hold distinctions in Music Theory Grade 5 and Piano Performance Grade 6. I have some experience tutoring online, having volunteered at an online school for Ukrainian students. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding by asking questions and encouraging active thinking. With the enthusiasm for music and children's education, I can make it my life-long career. I have been teaching piano for more than 5 years. The majority of my students are aged from four to twelve. I am experienced in teaching toddlers and children. My students have obtained prizes in HK School Music & Speech Festival and distinction in ABRSM Piano Exam. I would design different types of activities and immersed them in the lessons. Some story-telling and little games that involved body movements are some of the most effective teaching methods to grab children’s attention in the lesson. Apart from music teaching, I have been a English Phonics and Mathematics tutor at High Intelligence Education Co., Ltd. for almost three years. Pierre’s musical endeavour is fast-approaching five complete decades, having started in 1965 when he played first clarinet for his Montreal school band. Early steps on the journey included private tuition with various teachers and a jazz performance major at McGill University. His television appearances began in 1975, supporting local Canadian artists on the most popular music shows of the era. Around this time, he also became a key member of the ''Bouquet de sons'' classical baroque trio, playing in more than 100 concerts in two years. In the early 1980s, his band Agharta recorded their first album and headlined the first Montreal International Jazz festival. The success of Agharta brought Pierre to the attention of master percussionist Michel Séguin (Van Morisson, Don Alias), and the two formed a new group, Jouga. In the early 1990s, Pierre co-founded the world-beats group Anoosh; Anoosh not only won the prized ‘Rythmes DuMonde’ contest in Montreal, but also toured extensively through Europe, appearing at the Peter Gabriel / Thomas Brooman-founded ‘Womad’ festival. In 1992, Anoosh received a Juno nomination - the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards. During this period, Pierre also free-lanced with many jazz, blues, and R&B cover bands, before teaming up with percussionist-drummer Jean-François Fabiano (Gato Barbieri, Jean-Luc Ponty) to form the World Unit. Comprised of the finest world-beats and jazz musicians in Montréal, the World Unit made their debut television appearance on ARTV’s 'New World Symphony'’. As the 21st century dawned, Pierre branched out into new areas, culminating with his 2007 production ‘Storias’, a modern acid-jazz oriented album. Pierre is now established in Hong Kong and has already founded the HK Jazz Network, seeking to actively develop the city’s music and arts reputation. He is also helping to build the next generation of performance artists, regularly taking time out to teach young, local musicians.

I have long been passionate and thrilled about music. I learned the guitar back in high school and never looked back. I have experience as a worship leader, a choir director, and as an acoustic guitarist and vocalist. I am excited to share all the knowledge and skills I have obtained over the past 10 years.

Dan LaVelle has been playing the guitar since he was nine and did his first professional gig at age 12. Cutting his musical teeth on R&B/funk and soul of the 60s and 70s, he also has a strong background in all types of contemporary music styles from Brazilian to jazz. While just out of high school, he played local club dates and toured with many of the top bands in his hometown of Pittsburgh in the US. He was later invited to join the renowned R&B power band Pure Gold that toured across the US with acts like the Manhattan Transfer, Martha Reeves, and many others in the late 70s and early 80s. During the mid-80s, Dan lived in Japan where he did both songwriting and club dates in the Kansai region of the country. In 1987, he arrived in Hong Kong as one of the first wave of Western musicians helping to build an international music scene in the territory. Since then, he has written songs for scores of top Canto-pop artists as well as the platinum-selling Filipino band Side A. In 1998, he teamed up for several years with superb Asian contemporary vocalist Angelita Li in a highly acclaimed touring duo that showcased a strong Brazilian and jazz repertoire. In addition, later on while writing and arranging music for Disney and Pixar, LaVelle also began playing a number of local dates with top-flight jazz vocalist Jennifer Palor. This eventually led to their recording of the critically acclaimed CD - Jenerations on Tableau Records in 2008, co-produced by Roel Garcia. He also works closely with nu-jazz vocalist Ginger Kwan as a composer and recording guitarist, as well as with the superb Tokyo-based pianist Yuki Makita and serves as arranger and touring guitarist for R&B vocalist Sybil Thomas. In addition, over the past few years, Dan has performed with Grammy® award-winning saxophonist Eric Marienthal and serves as the music director for Montreux Jazz Festival award-winning singer Talie Monin.

My name is Michael Stack. I studied a BA in Music at the University of Cape Town and completed my PGCE in Music at Stellenbosch University. I have been teaching music theory for eight years, during which time numerous learners have achieved distinctions and many have been listed on the UNISA roll of honor. I firmly believe that learners should study music theory early on so that they are properly prepared for the music subject and BMus entry requirements. I hold high expectations for both myself and my learners. Over the course of my career, I have gained experience working with neurodivergent learners and have a keen interest in helping learners reach their potential in music.
