Hello! I am an experienced Head of Department and Online Tutor based in the UK, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at GCSE, and Biology and Physics at A-level. In this capacity, I continued to drive progress throughout the department through the sharing of best practice with non-specialist teachers and the department as a whole. As well as improving academic progress each year, I developed the school’s STEM opportunities through extracurricular Crest awards and organized a residential trip to CERN in Geneva, where students had the opportunity to see one of the particle accelerators up close. I spent eight years teaching at King's College School Wimbledon, then three at Wimbledon High School, including time as head of department. I am a native English-speaking International School teacher who focuses on building relationships with students.
