Benj learned to play the violin at the age of 10. He studied with four violin teachers before moving on to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music, and Master’s Degree in Music Performance at the Philippine Women’s University College of Music.

He performs occasionally for the Manila Symphony Orchestra and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the string group The Manila String Machine.

He recently received training in teaching the Suzuki Violin Method under renowned Suzuki pedagogues Dr. Lan Ku Chen and Prof. Christophe Bossuat. Benj currently teaches the violin at the Centro Escolar University Conservatory of Music (Manila Campus) and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Leggi di meno
