Graduating with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, I am a year two student currently studying at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Animal Health and Diseases. I take pride in my organization and good critical thinking, as well as analytical skills in learning.

I have been engaged in learning Biology throughout my secondary education, and am confident in all areas of the field. In addition, I am also confident in Chemistry and the general sciences. I am now studying the Bachelor of Science, and would focus on Veterinary Sciences and Animal Health in my later years of university.

Before completing secondary school, I have been a tutor for the school’s English reading club, which aims to improve reading, writing and speaking skills of students in younger years. Other than tutoring, some other work experiences that I have include clinical attachments at two animal hospitals, as well as doing administration work with the Legal Team at Fung Group Li and Fung. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at dog shelters such as Sai Kung Stray Friends and SPCA, reading and travelling. I am compassionate and patient, and am determined to help students achieve their academic goals in interactive ways.

My ideal teaching methodology is first understanding what students find challenging or difficult, then try to resolve those problems together with them while guiding and giving tips. To ensure that students are engaged, I would keep instructive teaching (such as lecturing) to a minimum, and encourage students to participate during the review to discuss and raise questions.
