Hello everyone, my name is Richard P. Bayog from the "Pearl of the Orient Seas," which is the Philippines. It is my pleasure and honor to be a part of this online job. I am currently working abroad as a Homeroom Kindergarten Teacher for more than 5 years. Working abroad is stepping out of my comfort zone. It is taking a leap of a thousand miles without knowing what awaits you in the future. Living in a foreign country with different cultures and norms requires a lot of flexibility. However, showing smiles and respect to people you have just met is a universal language that allows you to connect with them, regardless of your status, race, and citizenship. I am pursuing my Master's Degree at UoPeople (an American-based institution) because I believe it will provide me with knowledge and expand my teaching abilities. "Teaching is my true calling career," and pursuing my studies from a Bachelor of Elementary Education to a Master's Degree is a great privilege for my next journey. I used the learner-centered method. In learner-centered methods, the teacher/instructor is both a teacher and a learner at the same time. In the words of Lawrence Stenhouse, the teacher plays a dual role as a learner as well, "so that in their classroom, their intellectual horizons are expanded rather than limited."
